Sarah Mitchell has spent the last 10 years at the intersection of Christian education and children's ministry. She served as Sunday school director at her local church for 7 years before transitioning to writing Christian homeschool curriculum full-time. Her work has been used by Sunday school programs in over 200 churches and homeschool families across the United States.

At Printable Bible Coloring, Sarah personally reviews every Bible coloring page before it goes live. Her review checklist covers four areas:
- Biblical accuracy. Every illustration is cross-referenced against the Bible passage it depicts to ensure scriptural fidelity.
- Age appropriateness. Pages are categorized by audience (preschool, kids, teens, adults) and reviewed for visual complexity, emotional tone, and reading level of accompanying text.
- Educational value. Each page links to a specific Bible verse with a one-line teaching point that Sunday school teachers can build a lesson around.
- Reverence. Religious figures and sacred symbols are drawn with the dignity appropriate to their meaning — never glib, never irreverent.
