You can:

  • Download any coloring page on this site free of charge.
  • Print pages for personal home use (your own family).
  • Print pages in classroom settings (Sunday school, VBS, homeschool, daycare, preschool).
  • Print pages for church bulletins, ministry programs, and community events.
  • Reproduce pages for every child in your class — no per-copy fee.
  • Share the page URL with friends, family, and colleagues.
  • Embed page URLs in church or ministry websites for visitors to find.

You cannot:

  • Resell the coloring pages individually or in collections.
  • Include the pages in a paid product (workbook, curriculum, activity pack) for resale.
  • Repost the page files on another website or app as if they were your own.
  • Use the pages in for-profit advertising material.
  • Remove our attribution or branding from any printed page.

For larger churches and ministries

If your congregation has more than 500 weekly attendees or runs a year-round program with high copy volume, please see our church license page — it provides peace of mind for higher-volume use along with optional bulk-download tools.

Attribution

License — free for personal, classroom, church, and ministry use

Every coloring page on this site is published under a permissive free license designed specifically for the way Bible coloring pages are actually used — in Sunday school classrooms, in Catholic CCD programs, in Vacation Bible School, in homeschool curricula, in church bulletins, in parish family devotion, and in personal Bible journaling practice.

This license page is the formal statement of what's permitted and what isn't. The short version: use the pages freely for ministry, education, and personal devotion. The longer version covers the specific cases that teachers, parents, and parish leaders most often ask about.

What's freely permitted

The following uses are explicitly permitted without any additional permission required:

Personal use

  • Download and print pages for your own family
  • Print as many copies as your family needs
  • Color them yourself or have your children color them
  • Display the colored pages in your home
  • Give the colored pages to friends and family
  • Use the pages as part of personal Bible study or devotional practice

Classroom use (any classroom)

  • Print copies for every student in your Sunday school class
  • Print copies for every student in your homeschool co-op
  • Print copies for every student in your Christian school class
  • Print copies for every student in your Catholic CCD class
  • Re-use the pages across multiple years and multiple classes
  • No size limit on class — print as many copies as you need

Vacation Bible School use

  • Print bundles for entire VBS programs (typically 50-500 children)
  • Use the pages as VBS station materials
  • Send colored pages home with kids at the end of VBS
  • Use the pages as VBS wall decorations
  • Re-use across multiple years of VBS

Church and parish use

  • Include pages in parish bulletins
  • Distribute pages in church take-home folders
  • Include pages in confirmation prep materials
  • Include pages in marriage prep materials
  • Use pages for parish family events
  • Include pages in pastoral care visits (hospital, hospice)
  • Include pages in newcomer welcome packets

Homeschool use

  • Use as part of homeschool Bible curriculum
  • Print pages for homeschool co-op classes

Translation and modification

  • Translate verses on the pages to your preferred Bible translation
  • Add your church's logo to printed copies
  • Edit discussion questions to fit your specific curriculum

  • Add catechism citations specific to your tradition

Digital distribution (limited)

  • Share download links to our site with members of your community

What's not permitted

The following uses are not permitted under our free license:

Commercial resale

You may not:

  • Sell our pages individually or as a bundle
  • Sell ebooks, workbooks, or other products containing our pages
  • Sell printed coloring books that include our pages
  • Charge for downloads of our pages on a different site

The pages are free; reselling them violates the license.

Re-licensing

You may not:

  • Claim our pages are your work
  • Re-license them under different terms
  • Restrict others from using them after you've used them
  • Claim copyright on the pages or our modifications of them

Mass redistribution

You may not:

  • Re-upload our pages to another free site
  • Distribute the pages through file-sharing networks
  • Create a competing free Bible coloring page site using our content
  • Bulk-distribute through paid online services

Trademark misuse

You may not:

  • Use our brand name (Printable Bible Coloring) to suggest we endorse your product
  • Use our brand assets (logo, fonts, colors) for products we haven't reviewed
  • Claim association with our editorial team without permission

Inappropriate context

You may not:

  • Use our pages to promote content inconsistent with historic Christian teaching
  • Use our pages in materials that misrepresent Catholic, Orthodox, or Protestant theology
  • Use our pages in contexts that promote hatred, discrimination, or harm

Why we publish for free

We're often asked why we don't sell our content given the time investment in creating it. The answer:

Mission, not commerce

Our mission is helping teachers and parents teach the Bible to children well. Paywalls and freemium models obstruct that mission. We'd rather every Sunday school teacher in the world have access than monetize the small fraction who could pay.

Funding model

The site is funded through a combination of donations and sponsorships from Christian publishers, parish networks, and individual Christian benefactors who share our mission. No advertising on the site, no email gating, no upsells.

Volunteer editorial team

Most of the editorial team works on this project part-time, alongside their primary ministry or teaching positions. The contributions are themselves the gift.

Church / parish institutional license

For multi-parish networks, district-wide Sunday school programs, denominational education boards, see our church license page. We work with institutional users on customized arrangements.

Catholic diocesan license

We don't require attribution under the standard license, but we appreciate it. If you'd like to credit the source on materials you produce using our pages, the suggested attribution:

This isn't required, just appreciated.
