About this Bible story
In the book of Exodus, God provided for His people in the desert. He sent them food called manna. One day, they woke up to find it on the ground. It was like bread from heaven! Remember, 'I will rain down bread from heaven.' (Exodus 16:4)

Use crayons for easy handling, and consider a follow-up snack of bread to tie the lesson together.

More about these Bible coloring pages
During circle time last Thursday, we talked about how God provided for the Israelites in the desert. The kids were amazed as I described how 'I will rain down bread from heaven.' (Exodus 16:4) They couldn't wait to start coloring the Manna from Heaven pages! Each of the 6 images shows different aspects of the story, from the clouds bringing manna to the Israelites gathering it up. I set up our crayons and colored pencils on the art table, and soon everyone was focused on their pictures. One little girl, Sarah, exclaimed how she loved coloring the bread falling from the sky. As they colored, we discussed how God cares for us every day. These pages are not only fun but also help reinforce the lesson about trusting in Godβs provision. I plan to use these in our next lesson as a reminder of His blessings.
