More about these coloring pages

During our recent Bible study, I shared with my 7-year-old how the Fish Ichthys symbol represented Jesus' disciples. 'Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men' (Matthew 4:19) was a great starting point for a discussion. We printed the fish / ichthys coloring page for kids, and she was excited to color the beautiful designs. The six images include a simple fish outline, a cross inside a fish, and a disciple casting a net. My daughter especially loved adding her own colors to the fish! After coloring, we talked about how the Ichthys symbol was used by early Christians to identify one another. It's a great way to connect art with our faith. I also plan to use these pages in our Sunday school class next week, allowing the kids to express their creativity while learning about this important Christian symbol.
