More about these coloring pages

One of my favorite moments each quarter is watching my students bring the joy of the Lord to life through coloring. Each of the six images illustrates different aspects of Nehemiah's message. From children celebrating to families rejoicing together, these pages are filled with scenes that remind kids of the joy in faith. They often say, 'The joy of the Lord is your strength.' (Nehemiah 8:10) as they color. Last Wednesday, my third graders used bright crayons to fill in the designs, quickly sharing their favorite parts about the story. The joy truly comes alive when they talk about what they are creating. By the end of class, they were excited to share their masterpieces with their families, reinforcing the lesson we learned that day.
