More about these coloring pages
Last Friday, we gathered around the table for some coloring fun, and the kids loved using their bright crayons on the child praying hands coloring page for preschool. One child, Ella, exclaimed, 'Look, my hands are just like that!' as she colored. This page illustrates a child with their hands clasped, reminding them of Jesus' words, 'Let the little children come to me.' (Matthew 19:14). Each image encourages little ones to think about prayer and their own conversations with God. We usually spend about 30 minutes on these pages, so they have plenty of time to add their own colors and creativity. The selection of 6 different images allows the children to choose their favorite while practicing their skills. As a follow-up, I like to ask them what they pray for. Itβs heartwarming to hear their innocent and sincere requests, and it brings the lesson home. This free printable is a wonderful resource for our classroom.
