More about these coloring pages
Last Friday, I set up the coloring station with crayons and markers for the kids to use while we talked about the empty tomb story. One child pointed out the stone that was rolled away, and we discussed how 'He is not here; he has risen.' (Matthew 28:6). The kids loved coloring pictures of the angels and the empty tomb, and it helped them understand the joy of Easter. Each of the 6 images captures parts of the story, from the moment the women arrived to the angel announcing Jesus' resurrection. I also prepared a snack with some hot cross buns that linked to our lesson, making it memorable and fun for my preschool class. They couldn't wait to take their colorful pages home to show their families!
